Eldryd Parry Fellowship 2025–2026  

The Eldryd Parry Fellowship is an annual initiative by Global Health Partnerships (formerly THET) to honor the legacy of its founder, Professor Sir Eldryd Parry.This fellowship aims to empower early- to mid-career health workers from African countries by providing them with the resources to lead impactful projects that strengthen their national health systems. Emphasizing the importance of equitable partnerships, the fellowship supports professionals involved in UK-LMIC health collaborations.

Fellowship Overview

  • Funding Amount:£5,000
  • Duration:9 months
  • Application Opens: june 28, 2025

The fellowship provides a £5,000 grant to support a project over nine months. Projects may include leading a quality improvement initiative, conducting a short research study, or contributing towards scholarship fees. These activities aim to build the fellow's skills and knowledge while contributing to improvements in their health system.

Eligibility Criteria  

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be early- to mid-career health workers.
  • Be from public or not-for-profit health institutions in African countries.
  • Have an interest in primary healthcare.
  • Be part of a UK-LMIC health partnership.
